Lawnkeeper Treatment Services

How we keep your lawn in 'first-class' condition, using our unique services.

Your lawn is a precious part of your property and requires regular attention. In order to maintain a healthy looking lawn, it needs to have the correct treatments applied, such as Fertilising, weed killing, aerating and scarifying.

Please read the information below about how we implement our services, thus keeping your lawn looking green and healthy.

Moss

Moss is a serious threat to lawns because it will swamp the grass if left untreated. The result is brown patches in the summer, and soggy patches in the winter. To prevent this, the moss must first be killed then removed by scarifying to allow the grass to thrive.

Weeds

Weeds pose a constant threat to turf. If your lawn has only a few weeds you may be tempted to ignore them, but they won't go away. These weeds will steadily increase their hold unless the problem is treated. We can eradicate all types of weeds with our selective treatments to give you a WEED FREE lawn.

By treating your lawn four times a year Lawnkeeper will give you a lawn to be proud of... that's our promise.

Treatment 1 ( March - May )

We will apply a slow release fertiliser with the correct nutrients to give your lawn the best possible start to the growing season. Your lawn is sprayed with a selective herbicide to start killing the weeds.

Treatment 2 ( May - July ),

This treatment will help to maintain the thick, lush, green lawn and tackle any persistent weeds.

Treatment 3 ( July - September )

We will apply a slow release fertiliser to ensure there is no flush of growth, reduce the risk of scorch and give the grass a more even performance. We will apply a selective weedkiller to tackle any persistent weeds that may still be in your lawn.

Treatment 4 ( October - February )

This is the final treatment of the year and is aimed at killing any moss present in your lawn, maintaining that lush green look and hardening it for the winter.

Aeration

Aeration is the process where the lawn is opened up to allow air, nutrients and water to penetrate the roots. This means a stronger and deeper root growth. Aeration also relieves compaction and improves drainage.

Scarification

Scarifying is the process where thatch and dead moss are removed. Thatch can withhold nutrients and prevent water reaching the roots. Scarifying is a time consuming job, especially without professional equipment.
