June 2022 Newsletter

After a relatively dry spring, showers and rain this Jubilee weekend will be followed by a brief dry spell early next week, before low pressure brings more unsettled weather again later on. The middle of the month looks mixed as low pressure lingers nearby, but the end of June should bring more settled, drier weather. With warmth and some rain, mowing at least once a week will promote a thicker sward and reduce the risk of seed heads. During hotter/drier periods raise the cutting height and reduce the frequency of mowing to every 10-14 days to allow the grass to retain more water.
